ACE Affiliation

Texas Women in Higher Education is affiliated with the American Council on Education (ACE) Women’s Network.

The mission of the ACE Women’s Network is to facilitate the networking of women interested in pursuing leadership opportunities in higher education. This is accomplished through the following four-part structure: Network Executive Council; independent, state-based networks with state chairs; presidential sponsors; and institutional representatives.

These entities facilitate connections and provide opportunities to share best practices, especially at the State Chairs Annual Conference. This structure also facilitates training opportunities for local leadership hosted by state networks such as TWHE.
